Tomorrow can’t wait.

At UVA Health System, we are taking a critical look at what has come before to discover, research, teach, and care for patients in an entirely new way. You can help.

These are our stories

At UVA we are transforming medicine, educating the physicians and researchers of tomorrow who will advance knowledge and help people live healthier lives.

Congratulations to the UVA School of Medicine faculty who received a Certificate of Commitment to Faculty Development in Medical Education yesterday! This medical education series is presented in collaboration with the Academy of Distinguished Educators. Faculty who attend 10 workshops over a two-year period will receive a Certificate of Commitment to Faculty Development in Medical Education. The certificate can be included as part of the Teaching Portfolio, which in turn can be used for purposes of application for membership to the Academy of Distinguished Educators and/or as part of the portfolio for promotion and tenure. UVA School of Medicine is intentional in striving to grow as a diverse, welcoming place to learn and work. This is also double the national average. Read more about our efforts:
